Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 May 2026

This policy explains how the Boot Scootin’ app and the line-dance library website (together, the “Service”), provided by Boot Scootin' Andover, handle information. The Service is a simple catalogue of line dances with links to tutorial and demo videos on YouTube.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you.

The Service uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the app and website are used (for example, which dances are opened and roughly how many people visit). This collects standard technical data such as device type, approximate region, and pages viewed. We do not use it to identify individuals.

Videos and third-party links

Tutorial and demo buttons open videos hosted on YouTube. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data under its own privacy policy. We have no control over that and do not receive your YouTube activity. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

How information is used

Aggregate analytics are used only to maintain and improve the Service (for example, deciding which dances to keep or add). We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Children

The Service is a general-audience dance library and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains no chat, uploads, or social features.

Your choices

You can stop all analytics collection by not using the Service. On the website you may also use your browser’s privacy controls or tracker-blocking extensions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date above.
